Overnighter at Mercy General

Just spent an overnighter with Veronica Espiritu and Virginia Espiritu along with Elmer and Ghia Seisa. We got a call from Dennis on 8 pm Friday, November 4th, 2011. We needed to come to the hospital. Right Now! After we arrived, Fe (Agnes) was could not breathe very well at all. She had an extremely difficult time breathing! I could see the pain in her face as she tries to breathe. It takes a lot of effort to take each breath. Imagine sticking your head out of your car while traveling at 90 mph per hour. Can't breathe can you? That's what she's experiencing.

Around 1 am, the nurse explained that they may have to stick a tube down through her mouth and down into her lungs to get the oxygen into her body going. This was an irreversible procedure. Once this happens this life support is invevitable.

Agnes's Youth Group and the Seisa family got togeher and did a prayer vigil in the waiting room. We prayed healing prayers with everyone.

Around 3 am, Elmer arrived. He lead prayer and worship in Fe's room. We had a handful of Fe's youth and the Seisa relatives in that room. We had song and healing prayer and worship wee hours into the morning.

8 am. Saturday, November 5, 2011. Fe had a easier time breathing with a simpler oxygen mask. She opened her eyes and very alert. She can speak as well. Although she had to require medication to help her breathe with this simpler oxygen setup, we praise God with all the healing prayers and worship that started since she arrived in the hospital last week.

This is the best appearance of her since she arrived in the hospital! We praise God for his grace and mercy.

WE ARE NOT OUT OF THE WOODS YET! It's a start and please continue to pray, pray, pray!
God has the last word of what He wants to do with Fe!

We thank God for doctors knowledge.

God is the ultimate physician. He always has the LAST WORD!

~her brother, Jaime (Jimmy) Espiritu
