FB Post by her daughter

I love what Desiree posted on her Mom's FB wall, I just have to share it here. Words of a young woman growing up.

Some of you might not know this. Agnes carried a child to term after finding out it was a boy (the only boy) and had a rare Brittle Bone Disease. I remember her phone call that day. We were both to tears. It was heartbreaking. The doctors said, as Desiree mentioned, the baby will not survive. "Termination" was the option they offered. (When I was pregnant with my Diego and found out he would be a Down Syndrome baby, they asked if I would like to terminate it, and they asked nonchalantly. Absolutely NOT! This life isn't ours to terminate.) Who are we to terminate innocent lives?

EVAN lived nine beautiful days. Much longer than what the doctors anticipated. He would've been 8 years old this year.

So if anyone knows about immense pain and heartaches, Agnes does.
If anyone knows about God's mercy and undying LOVE, she does.
If anyone knows about HOPE, she does.
If anyone knows about prayers being answered, she does.
If anyone knows about staying strong and solely relying on God's strength, she does.
If anyone knows God's Word is True, she does.
And NO ONE can take that away from her.
"For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope." ~Jeremiah 29:11
"My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord." And My ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.” ~Isaiah 55:8

Dennis, Dez, Liana, Sammi, be strong! Praying for you always.

ANOTHER URGENT MESSAGE

I don't know why I didn't see this earlier:

AGNES ON LIFE SUPPORT! PRAYER IS NEEDED. (texted at 6:05 am)

Laughter in the ICU including mom

Psalm 73:26 "My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart; He is mine forever"

After waiting for family and friends to visit mom first. Finally, it was my turn! Gabe, Desiree, Jayne, Krystal were also in the room seeing mom. After laying hands and prayed in my mind holding moms hand, I started to talk to her with words of affirmation and with faith that she will walk out of that hospital. Words are very powerful, life and death are on the tongue(Proverbs 18:21) so if you visit mom, speak words that bring "LIFE" people. Desiree later walked up holding mom's other hand, and with peace in my heart, I started to lighten up the mood and make some jokes and tell mom what has been happening.
Like, "Hey mom, I gotta give it to ya, hands down, like literally for having the patience and love for taking care of sammi! Because, me and Liana for less than a month have been taking care of Sammi (well mostly Liana of course) and she was driving us CRAZY! So I gotta hand it to you mom for being able to handle Sammi while being patient."
And, "Hey mom! Ronnie, Liana, and I were talking about how we got our names and what they mean earlier today at lunch. And we started to talk about Samantha, and that her name means "to listen", and Ronnie says "TO LISTEN? YEAH! TO LISTEN TO HER!"
Those were just a few, but, with all of the laughter, I noticed (1) her blood pressure was getting higher (to normal because it was low) (2) Her Heart Rate was at 91 and before it was 100 (3) the wrinkles on her forehead (from the pain, because when we walked in the room the started to wake up and respond and was trying to take off the Air Support tubes) were no longer there and she looked more relaxed, and (4) every time we laughed, I noticed a change in her face as if she was laughing and smiling along with us even though she is sedated and having that big air tube in her mouth, Blessing!!!

Call it crazy or call it faith, but, I still have hope that mom is going to walk out of that hospital alive, from what it looks like through our own eyes it looks like things are bad, but, that is why we have faith, because faith is believing without seeing. I believe God is already working inside and is VICTORIOUS!!! In JESUS NAME!

I know we all expect a miracle, but, everyone including myself, must REPENT of our sins. Now is the time to serve our God, Now is the time to repent and ask for forgiveness and come back to the Lord, not half way in , but, All in. God is calling for the Navy Seal believers, that is to lay down your life for Jesus. Remember, He did it for us! Family and Friends, Repent of your sins and Serve our Lord Jesus Christ, leave the selfish life, leave the sinful life and get right with God because God listens to the righteous! God wants all of you!

One more thing, before I left I told mom "this morning when I opened my bible I read Isaiah 46: 3-4 "...I have cared for you since you were born. Yes, I carried you before you were born. I will be your God throughout your lifetime - until your hair is white with age. I made you, and I will care for you. I will carry you along and save you."

Dennis' text messages

6:55 am - Intubation has been initiated. Please pray

10:18 am - Numothorax on the right lung on Agnes. Keep praying

the waiting room.

Sitting in the waiting room of Mercy ICU with some of my family here with me. I keep a hopeful disposition because I believe and expect a miracle. But that does not mean I should get lax on prayer--no. We are on the offense side in prayer and petition. Our GOD is so great and wonderful, I just hope to have that sort of Jesus-calm in me. You know, the Jesus-calm--the type of calm that happens when someone so full of faith and love for Jesus Christ walks into the room. You could be feeling so chaotic, but then the Spirit of the Lord is upon them and having them there is like having a little piece of God in the flesh with you. For we know and have Jesus Christ in us, but sometimes you just want Jesus with skin. My mom is like that, she's got the Jesus calm.

Enough of my thoughts, here's the news you've been waiting for.

Visited my Mom last night, she was having some trouble breathing and was coughing quite a bit. She took a breathing treatment and ate spaghetti! Later that night my dad told me that she was put on bi-pap (that breathing mask). Earlier this morning she was intubated and transferred to the CS-ICU. She just got a CT scan. They're going to place another tube in her lung.

These are critical times for my mom. We're able to visit her but she is heavily sedated. She can hear us and we're going in 3 at a time. It is important that we continue to pray for my mom and believe that she will get through this storm. We are waiting for our Savior to come and calm the storm. Do not lose hope everyone. Thank you everyone for coming and showing your support so far and I believe that it has given my mom the strength to fight. I praise God for raising up my mom to be a fighter. Together, we will win this battle!

Expect a miracle!

be free.

Urgent Phone Call From Dennis

Dennis said that Agnes was having a hard time breathing all night, rapid team came in, took her to ICU on the 3rd floor where she is right now. Her blood pressure is very high. Doctors strongly suggested intubation or her heart will stop. Families are coming over today. Please don't stop praying for for her.

He has a job interview today but will ask to have it rescheduled. Please pray that he will be granted another interview date, and that he will stay strong.

"He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed,
miracles that cannot be counted." ~Job 5:9

Urgent Update!

Received this text early this morning...

Agnes needs your prayer!

Thanks for praying for my sister. You can keep her in your prayers. Her blood pressure was much too high this morning. Doctors had to do intubination. This means that they had to stick a tube down her lungs in order to help her breathe. Intubination means that if they didn't do this, her heart would stop. Please pray for recovery!

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR EVERYONE WHO IS HELPING MAKE THIS HAPPEN. Honestly, I am overwhelmed at how much support and love we’ve received from all of our friends and family members. I am amazed at the response, and I am still in complete shock. Struggle builds character, strength, and hope. I’m learning how to become the same dependable sister/daughter/cousin/friend you all have been to me. Forever thankful.
With God, NOTHING is impossible, and I am seeing it all right before my very own eyes. God is the source of our strength and hope. Mom, you are loved.
