Hello Everyone,
It has been...let's just say an uneventful week for our whole family.
Many family & friends have questions, just as we still do today and also week ago on the Condition of my Better Half/Agnes.
I'll be writing it down as best as possible to describe what happened.
Last week, on Tuesday, 10/25/11, we went to urgent care to have Agnes diagnose for breathing problems, ie: shortness, as she goes up stairs, etc.
Since the allergy medicine, Albuterol, wasn't helping anymore.
Urgent Care doctor, suggested to bring her to ER since abnormal EKG.
Brought her to Mercy General ER. Doctor announced normal EKG & vitals so she was ready to discharge her and let her go home.
Until I brought up weight lost. Doctor turn around & suggested for blood work with overnite stay since we have been there for over 8 hours.
Isolation & testing was initiated for any other possible airborne infections and/or viruses since Agnes did not show any fever, chills etc. (ie: symptoms that are related to these diseases.)
Doctors eliminating variable possibilities which did not fit the criteria and started looking towards cancer when CT scans/bronchoscopy showed the probable of this occuring.
Come Friday morning, 10/28, it was confirmed--the affected lungs with ChemoTherapy iniated.
Had to perform/confirm another Radiological test, to see if it has spread anywhere else.
Saturday afternoon, 10/29, X-ray evidence of Metastasis have occurred in various areas of her bone structure comparing it to a Stage lV.
We need prayer warriors and will be creating a team to help her combat this terrible disease, so that it will be focused on her health, needs & desires to help her maximize the quality of her life.
Thank YOU all for the many prayers and Willingness to help during our family's journey.
We LOVE each & everyone of YOU and each of YOU have Deep Meanings in our lives.
~Dennis
